Alright guys, it’s time for part 2 of my nom adventure at Maryland Live! Casino – if you missed part 1, simply click on the following link to see all the droolworthy desserts I devoured. I’ll be featuring a bunch of different plates from Luk Fu today so you’ll definitely want to scroll down to the very end to read about my favorites. If you’re looking for good asian food in Hanover, Maryland, you’re definitely gonna want to keep reading! So without further ado, let’s get to the noms…
Roast Duck Noodle Soup with bok choy, garnished with cilantro.
Sichuan Kung Pao Shrimp with peanuts, veggies, sichuan peppercorns and chilis.
Shrimp Tempura with nomtastic veggies!
Mongolian Beef with chopped scallions.
Char Sui Bao aka barbecued pork buns.
Vietnamese Fried Spring Rolls.
Galbijim aka Korean Style Braised Beef Short Ribs.
Xiao Long Bao aka steamed pork “soup dumplings.”
As you can see, their presentation was beautiful all throughout, but as far as taste goes, there were definitely standouts. I recommend the Mongolian Beef and Kung Pao Shrimp because those were the best dishes by far. Both plates were seasoned to perfection, and the meat was to-die-for tender. Props to Luk Fu for offering a variety of different asian cuisines (Korean, Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese) AND bringing out a kickass spice tray right from the getgo. What looked yummiest to you guys? And who here’s been to Maryland Live! Casino in Hanover, MD? Also, not to bombard y’all with questions, but where do you guys like to go for solid asian cuisine in the DMV?
