Alright everyone, it’s time for another fab beauty post on Sensible Stylista. I’m super pumped to partner up with Garnier and Walmart today to share my masking routine with you guys. Garnier’s new SkinActive Moisture Bomb Masks are an absolute must for anyone and everyone because they provide serious hydration. These water-based sheets are made with hyaluronic acid, and they contain nourishing ingredients like goji berries, vitamins C & E and pomegranate. The aforementioned ingredients help your skin retain moisture throughout the day, which is crucial because of damaging external factors like UV rays and pollution.
Now, I’m kind of crazy when it comes to masking, but that’s because it’s one of THE most important parts of my beauty regimen, and regardless of my schedule, I always make time to treat myself to an at-home spa session at least once a week. I’m all about hustling on the daily, but I feel strongly about R&R for physical and mental recovery. I’ll either light up a candle and take a bath while wearing my Moisture Bomb Sheet Masks (the blue one’s my fave) or binge-watch Netflix while cuddling my furbaby. BTW, Daisy’s completely and utterly obsessed with these masks – she spends a good 10 minutes or so sniffing them when I put them on my face, ha. Do any of your pets do that?
If you’re unfamiliar with sheet masks, you’re in for a real treat because they’re the best for ultimate hydration within minutes. Each sheet is individually packaged and comes soaked in amazing goodness. Start by cleansing your skin and toweling it dry. Then open your mask and gently straighten it out before removing the blue film. Now, put it on and adjust it so it lies flat on your skin and covers all the contours of your face.
…andddd that’s it! Leave the mask on for at least 15 minutes and relax, do work, or [insert whatever tickles your fancy]. After your 15 minutes is up, simply remove the mask and massage the remaining product into your skin – no rinsing necessary. If you’re doing this in the AM though, remember to slather sunscreen on afterwards.
Just look at that dewy goodness! Up your skin game stat by purchasing these masks at Walmart. They only cost $2.50 a pop so they’re more than affordable. I recommend buying one of each to see which one works best with your skin – definitely let me know which one you like best after trying them all.
Sponsored by Garnier, but all opinions are my own.
