I don’t know about you guys, but I shop at Target at LEAST twice a week. I get everything from beauty products to school supplies to food and sometimes even go just for fun. Hey, they have some really awesome deals there so don’t judge, ha! It also helps that I have a Target close to me in both PA and MD so shopping there is beyond convenient. Anywho, I was recently due for my annual eye exam so I decided to go and get checked out at my local Target Optical®. I deal with contact lens related dryness on the daily so I wanted to switch over to ACUVUE®.
For busy millennials like myself, every minute counts – what can we say, we loveeee efficiency – and Target Optical® makes it all so easy. To book an appointment, simply go to targetoptical.com and hover over the “eye exams*” tab. Enter your zip code in the white drop down menu to find the closest Target to you. Click the red button that says “schedule an eye exam” and choose the day/time of your choice! Andddd that’s it – easy peasy lemon squeezy.
The whole process was quick and easy so I’m glad that I’m on the Target Optical® train now. She made me feel extremely comfortable and gave me different sample lenses to try to see which kind I liked best. She also gave me recommendations on solutions and gifted travel kits so I could give those a try as well. If you’re looking for a new place to get your eyes checked out yearly, I highly recommend this location. Anywho, I’m pumped to get my contacts soon! I’m pretty much blind without them soooo I’m definitely looking forward to picking these babies up. Also, if you’re a first time contact wearer, here’s an online pamphlet for info on how to put them in properly.
And to talk a bit about fashion, here’s what I wore to my appointment: an adorable ruffled maxi skirt, a cropped gray top, my favorite “flats,” and my new mini-backpack courtesy of bestie Sung Shin. Isn’t the design fun? The paws are magnetized so you have to pull them down to access the outer pocket.
