I feel kind of silly writing this post, but hey, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to look stylish while studying up a storm. Anytime I need to hustle, I throw on a jeans + tee + jacket combo because it’s comfortable and effortlessly fashionable. As much as I enjoy wearing “basic” white tees, I like finding unique styles to elevate my OOTD. I purchased this tee from Zara while it was on sale for $9.99, and it was SUCH a good buy. I still can’t believe I got it for such little $$!
The tee’s style is on the boxier side so I paired it with a fitted moto jacket to accentuate my body. Mustard’s one of my favorite colors, and I wanted the look to pop so I went bold. Sidebar: for those of you interested, I styled this jacket HERE not too long ago. Moving on! The boots I’m wearing are wardrobe staples. In fact, I liked them SO much that I purchased two pairs while they were on sale. When I find shoes that are cute AND comfy, it’s a done deal. I’ll buy two in every color I like because I’m picky as hell when it comes to kicks. I seriously live in these boots, and I don’t know what I’m going to do once they die [insert sad face here]. Do you guys stock up, too? Or am I just a total weirdo, ha.
I know I titled this post, “How-to Look Stylish While Studying,” but it could also be called, “How to Look Stylish When You Want to Be Comfy AF.” Ha! This is my uniform when I go out to photograph grub for Nomtastic Foods. I tried wearing “fancier” outfits to restaurants, but I totes ended up tripping/falling off chairs (true story) so I decided to go casual for shoots. Trust me, falling off a stool in 4 inch heels and a skirt? Pretty freaking embarrassing – not to mention painful, lol.
Since I can’t link y’all to this tee, here are other stylish options for you guys (all under $50):
