In honor of the upcoming holiday, I decided to do a fun list post with things I’m thankful for. It’s easy to get bogged down by everyday stresses, but don’t get discouraged by BS. Negative thinking won’t do you any good. Instead of harping on the bad, take a step back and try to appreciate the beauty that is life. I know that sounds cheesy as hell, but I mean every word. And for the record, I don’t just mean epic things like the aurora borealis – I’m talking about “simple” things people (myself included) overlook or take for granted. Here are 50 things I’m grateful for this Thanksgiving…and every other day of the year, ha:
- My loved ones.
- Cuddles with my handsome bf.
- My wonderful piano students.
- A morning cup of joe.
- The smell of crisp air on a chilly fall day.
- Netflix marathons.

- TV shows with strong female leads – Xena and Buffy were the OGs.
- Sex and the City reruns – I know that’s basic but #sorrynotsorry.

Soooo that’s my list, guys! Join in on the fun by commenting with 5 things you’re grateful for below. And before I leave you, I want to take a second to talk outfit deets. As you can see, I’m all about casual today. The jacket and top are both new – the former’s from Chicwish (available for $59.90 here) and the latter’s from SheInside (available for $18.99 here). Everything else has already been featured on SS, BUT in case you need a refresher: the skinnies are from Aero, the backpack’s from Charming Charlie, and the pumps are from Off Fifth. Let me know if you have questions, and make sure you eat a ton of turkey tomorrow!
