Alright guys, I’m super excited to partner up with Savers & Value Village™ for today’s post. Halloween’s one of my favorite holidays – like I legit have a countdown on my phone – so I’m really looking forward to this year’s festivities. It’s going to be extra special this time around because Robby’s (aka Scenic Path) flying out to see me, and we have some seriously fun stuff planned – more on that later though! Right now, we need to talk about cute costumes that won’t break the bank.
1. Purchase accessories that can be “recycled.” I found this red cape at the Value Village™ in Brooklyn Park, MD and got it immediately because I knew I could wear it a bunch of different ways down the road. I decided to dress up as a cute devil, but I could’ve easily been a superhero, a sorceress, or a vampire.
Are you terrified of me yet? Here’s my menacing smile… yeah, I definitely can’t even type that with a straight face. I’m always laughing so maybe I’ll be a happy demon, lol.
2. Buy affordable accessories that are costumes in themselves. I recently got three different headbands because I couldn’t decide which one I liked best. They were all wallet-friendly though – think $2-3 a piece – so I have zero regrets! As you can see (both in my pics + video below), I went with horns, cat ears, and a halo. I know that’s pretty standard, but I like what I like. Girly dresses are my go-to, and that’s not going to change regardless of the occasion. With that said, maybe I’ll surprise you guys with something super scary next year [insert evil laughter].
Headbands like these are great because you can easily pair them with clothing you already have for a effortlessly stylish costume. For example, your favorite LBD is now a cat costume with the help of your adorable new ears. That LWD you wore all summer? Pair it with a halo for a super cute angel outfit…which I did for you guys below, ha! FYI, Value Village™ has a ton of new & pre-loved clothing you can sift through if you’re looking for discounted garb for the occasion.

Here’s a shot of me as an angel wearing my new halo headband! So, which look do you guys like best so far: cat, demon or angel? Definitely make sure to let me know by leaving a comment below. PS. this headpiece is just as soft as it looks. I spent a good 5 minutes playing with it before putting it on, lol.
3. Buy a new (but discounted) costume that’s pre-styled. If you don’t want to mix and match, this is the option for you. When I found this witch costume at Value Village™, it was pretty much love at first sight. The sleeves sealed the deal for me, but I thought the hat was really cute too! If you want to see me wearing it, watch the video below. I start cackling towards the end because my videographer made me laugh sooo sorry in advance – once I lose it, there’s no going back. Also, Daisy makes a guest appearance (!!!!) she’s the cutest so that means you HAVE to see it.
Now onto the free swag! As I mentioned earlier, I’m giving one very lucky winner a $150 gift card to Savers. All you have to do to enter is follow them on instagram via Rafflecopter below. As always, there are several bonus entries available to up your chance of winning so make sure you take advantage. This giveaway ends on November 12th and is open to residents of the US.
