Wearing the color of my soul from head to toe today on the blog, ha. In all seriousness though, I love all black ensembles, and not just because they’re slimming. I’ve mentioned this on here before, but I’ve been obsessed with neutral ensembles as of late. There’s just something about the hue that oozes chic.
I’m rewearing 3 wardrobe staples today, but I only really want to talk about 2: my Zara shirt and my distressed Aero jeggings. I’m just going to go in order. I love this tee so much that I purchased it in several different colors, and I even bought back ups because fit, quality and price were so on point.
It’s available in stores for $9 so definitely make sure you hit up your local Zara to stock up. I even got my uber fashionable mom on board while we were in Vegas, and she got two.
At $60, the jeggings are much pricier, but Aero almost always has a sale or BOGO deal going on so keep an eye out. With that said, these are easily the coolest and the most comfortable pants I own, and I’m planning to buy more soon. It’s no secret that I’m team Aero when it comes to denim so hold your judgement and browse their collection.
I guarantee you’ll be a believer once you try them on. And I typically don’t buy other clothes from them – not a fan of their tacky Aero branding – but I recently got a sweatshirt, and it could easily pass for James Perse…and it was only $12 so obviously I couldn’t leave without it. I’m planning on featuring it on here within the next few weeks so you’ll see it.
The two new items I got are as follows: a fabulous black anorak from the Codex Club ($60) and a faux-suede tote from Violet Ray ($98). And FYI, both were gifted. I realllllly like this jacket, and everything about the design is on point IMO. I just wish it were a little warmer!
It has a super cute (and detachable) fur hood that I love, and its adjustable waist ties create a more flattering, hourglass shape. If you’re interested in purchasing this staple for yourself, it’s available on their website.
Now, let’s take a closer look at my new tote from Violet Ray. This design’s called the Charlii, and it’s also sold in black. It’s priced at $98 so it definitely doesn’t come cheap so if you’re on a budget, hold off. This is one of the more expensive VR bags so I’m going to link you guys to the more affordable VR pieces below (under $50).
