Last week, I blogged about off-the-shoulder tops and explained why they were all sorts of awesome. I liked the top that I showcased SO much that I decided to re-style it again on SS to show off its versatility. Last week’s look was very casual so I mixed things up today and threw together a vibrant work-friendly outfit for you guys. If you’re a fan of cute pencil skirts, you’re definitely gonna want to keep reading…
I’m not sure if you can tell (because it’s a subtle difference) but I kept my shoulders covered today because of the office-wear theme. You see some midriff below because I have my arm up, but it actually doesn’t show too much because the skirt’s high-waisted and the top’s pulled down. Unfortunately, my work-friendly skirt was an old purchase so I don’t have a link for you guys, but I’ll make sure to share other adorable & affordable options with you below.

Since my ensemble’s super colorful, I decided to go easy on the accessories! I threw on round-toe nude pumps and carried a beige crossbody to match. Both pieces are SUPER old, but they’re favorites so they make appearances often. Plus, I take really good care of my stuffs so it all looks brand new – oh the perks of being OCD, ha! On a random note, do you guys prefer round-toe or pointy-toe heels? I’ve always liked the former better. I mean, I love the way pointy-toe heels look, but my feet just can’t handle them, and I’m not willing to sacrifice comfort for fashion. Why pick one when you can have both? Ha. I guess that’s the sensible side of me speaking. What do you guys think? Leave me a comment below with your personal preference.
