I bought this dress in Orlando at the Kate Spade factory outlet as a gift for my mom, but it doesn’t fit her quite right anymore so she decided to give it to me. I’m bummed that my present didn’t work out but totally ok with owning more fashionable work friendly dresses, ha. I love KS clothing so much – their garb oozes quality and I seriously find something I love every time I hit them up. Too bad their stuff costs a freakin’ arm and a leg!
It’s been a while so I can’t remember the exact amount, but this dress was a little over $100 – definitely not cheap but reasonable for a KS purchase. I’m a big fan of their bags as well, but I definitely favor their clothing. Anywho, I wanted to keep things classically chic for today’s OOTD so I went with beige shoes and carried a neutral crossbody to match.
Other Kate Spade favorites:
A close-up shot of my new shoes from Guilty Soles – also available in black for those of you interested! They’re surprisingly comfortable for 4.5″ heels, and I love that the straps are adjustable. They have a zip-up back and are made of a chic vegan suede. I’ve always been more into bags than shoes, but that’s slowly changing. I don’t know, it’s tough because I have terrible luck when it comes to them so I don’t feel super comfortable splurging. I always end up damaging them somehow – probably because I walk like a donkey.
For example, I bought the CUTEST pink bow heels from Kate Spade, and they accidentally got jammed a crack during a photoshoot. I almost cried because that was literally the FIRST time I had worn them out, and they were ripped beyond repair [cue the sobbing but also #firstworldproblems]. If you’re a pro at damage-proofing your shoes, please oh PLEASE share your secrets with me because I need your help desperately.
