A while back, I published a post on top ethically and socially responsible brands to support during the holiday season. In an effort to try and help raise more awareness , I’m going to highlight them on my channels so expect more features like this in the future. So, without further ado, let’s kick things off with Fazl.
Founded by husband and wife duo, Vanessa and Mike, they’re 200% committed to helping orphaned children in India with food, shelter, education and clothing. They donate 50% of their net profits and hire local artisans in need, offering them jobs with fair wage.
On their site, they talk about the three H’s of Fazl: handmade, Himalayan, and happy ladies. Vanessa and Mike been living in India since 2015, and their brand offers knitwear and handloom collections celebrating the stunning indigenous designs of the Himalayan and Mizo people.
Shop their collection for cute hats, mittens, earrings and more. On top of the most comfortable socks you’ll ever wear, they sell tote bags that are made from upcycled tire tubes. Super cool, right? It’s crazy to think this leather-like material was once a tire on the side of the road.
I’m wearing their Shanti socks on today’s post, and they’re honestly the warmest, most comfortable socks I’ve ever had the pleasure of lounging in. In fact, they’re so comfy that my mom straight up jacked them from my dresser.
For those of you interested, they’re $18 a pair and there are several other colors available for purchase. I’ve been eyeing their Hamesha as well, but I’m curious to hear which pair catches your eye.
In terms of sizing, they have everything from “child small” to an “adult large.” I’m wearing “adult small,” and it fits me just right. If you’re in between sizes, it’s better to round down a size because your socks will stretch over time. As a plus, they offer free shipping to residents to North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand so make sure you take advantage.
A huge thanks to Sung Shin for the awesome pic! If you have any questions about Fazl, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m always happy to hear from you guys. Until next time, friends! Sending you all the positive vibes.
