If you’re following me on instagram, you’ve already seen this look, but I loved it SO much that I had to blog about it as well. This outfit was actually sponsored by Walmart of all places. I know clothing isn’t the first thing that comes to mind when one thinks of Walmart, but their stuff’s pretty darn cute, not to mention affordable.
Time and Tru’s a line I’ve worked with several times in the past, and I’m genuinely a fan. That goes without saying though because I wouldn’t be an ambassador for them unless I loved their line. I seriously wear their ribbed duster – I wore it on IG here a while back – at least once a week, and I have no doubt this anorak will be a staple as well.
Today’s featured OOTD is very casual. I feel like I’m either super girly or tomboyish; there’s not much of an in between, and that’s totally fine. I feel really good in this look – it’s something I’d wear for casual hangs, school, errands and the like. Comfort shouldn’t translate to scrubby though. I used to live in hoodies, but I like to think I’m a bit more fashionable now. This is a minimal look that’s effortlessly stylish. The animal print boots elevate everything! It’s amazing what a splash of print can do.
Here’s a close-up shot of my shoes. They’re available for purchase online for $19.97, and you can get them in black as well. They’re running low on stock though so run, don’t walk. I like them because they’re 2.5″ high – I’m only 5’5 so I like having the extra height, but it’s not overwhelming so you can wear them on the regular without worrying about killing your feet. They also look a lot more expensive than they are, and you can style them a bajillion ways so I highly recommend getting a pair for yourself! For those of you interested, these run true to size.
Since this jacket’s only available in L and XL, here are other fabulous options that won’t break the bank (all under $50):
