I’m extra excited for today’s post for two reasons. One, I finally got to shoot with William Oh, and two, I’m spotlighting one of my favorite indie boutiques in Baltimore. Will and I have been virtual friends for years – thank you, instagram – so it was really great to finally meet up and collaborate. We got some awesome content so keep an eye out, friends!
Located in Hampden on 1025 W 36th Street, Match Made Stores is a local boutique with the cutest clothing and accessories. The owner, Brittany, majored in fashion merchandising, and it’s been a longtime dream of hers to open her own store. She has a phenomenal eye so her store’s always stocked with gems.
As much as I love major retailers like ASOS and Zara, I enjoy shopping “small” for a variety of reasons. First, it’s a great way to support your community, and you know what they say, “when you buy from a small business, an actual person does a happy dance.” Second, your style will be that much more unique because their collection’s not available to everyone. Match Made has a wonderful website, but it’s just a fraction of the cuteness you’ll see at their brick and mortar location.
When I saw this maxi at Match Made, I knew I had to get it. I’m an avid dress collector so fashionable dresses are my kryptonite. This piece oozes steeze (style with ease), and the silhouette’s flattering yet comfortable. The print’s stunning, and the tie highlights the small of my waist, visually slimming my figure. It was still warm when I shot this so I wore it with wedges, but it’d look just as cute with boots or even sneakers, paired with outerwear of your choice.
Visit Match Made to get this dress for yourself! It’s also available in blue if you prefer. If you don’t live near Charm City, you can always shop online. In fact, they currently have a cool promotion going on. Enter CYBER25 at checkout to get 25% off your purchase. Happy shopping, friends!
