Guys, it’s no secret that I have a borderline unhealthy obsession with dresses. Midi, mini, bodycon, a-line, the list goes on and on because I don’t discriminate. I welcome all cuts, prints, and styles, but today we’re gonna focus on must-have wrap dresses under $50 because I’m all sorts of sensible. I purchased this fabulous ruffled number while it was on sale at Nordstrom. Unfortunately, this baby’s no longer available online, BUT I’ve linked other designs below because I’m helpful like that [insert giant grin here].
Diane von Furstenberg first came out with the wrap dress in the 70s, and it’s been a wardrobe staple for women ever since. It’s literally one of THE most flattering silhouettes you can wear because it highlights your waist while skimming your hips, creating a stunning hourglass shape. On top of that, it’s just really versatile. You can wear it to any and every occasion, and own the room with confidence since it’s flattering AF.
It’s also clothing that’ll last the test of time, which is really important to me! Women of all ages look incredible wearing it so rest assured, you won’t be throwing it out after a season or so. Wrap dresses really are classics that you’ll wear for decades to come. I’m recommending the more affordable designs in today’s post, but don’t be afraid to splurge if you find the design of your dreams. Remember, it’s all about cost per wear so keep that in mind while shopping! How do you guys feel about the wrap dress – it is a yah or nah? Definitely let me know by commenting below. Also, if you have any topics you want me to cover, feel free to shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
