I’m not sure if you guys remember, but a while back I blogged about this dress as a find of the day. This post is long overdue, but I’m really excited to feature it because it’s still one of my absolute favorites. Before I get into deets though, can we just give a round of applause to my mom for shooting these pics? I’ve been teaching her how to shoot, and she’s been killing it for real.
We shot this together back when we were vacationing on Jeju Island – and btw, if you missed my hotel review, you definitely want to check it out. Now, back to today’s OOTD! My latest look is a little unconventional but whatever goes. Fashion has no rules, and it’s no secret that I wear whatever I please regardless of trends.
Korea’s still pretty traditional when it comes to showing skin (at least in most parts of the country) so I didn’t feel comfortable just wearing this dress out. I didn’t bring much outerwear with me so I just threw on this striped shirt on top. I already shared this story on instagram, but just in case you don’t follow me there, I’ll tell it again.
One of my FAVORITE pieces to wear is THIS long top. When my grandma saw it, she excitedly ran to her closet and pulled out something similar! She insisted that I wear it, and I happily agreed. I love, love, LOVE meaningful hand me downs. She gave me a bunch of jade jewelry as well so you guys will see that on here soon! Do you raid your mom or grandma’s closet? Let me know by commenting below! I’d also love to hear about your favorite piece of clothing! If there’s special meaning behind it, please share.

That’s a gorgeous dress, I love the colour and the ruffles are adorable. And it looks great with the striped cardigan, it gives it a more casual vibe.
Such a lovely dress!
