I’m all about remixing clothes on the regular because I want to get max wear out of everything I own. I try my hardest to re-feature as many different pieces as possible because, one: it’s the practical thing to do, and two: I appreciate a solid creative challenge. I don’t consider myself to be especially fashion-forward per se, but I enjoy pushing my own personal style limits.
I’ve featured this long shirt on here several times already in the past, but I wanted to restyle it yet again for today’s super casual OOTD. This striped number was a fairly old purchase from Korea. I bought it last year while vacationing there – although it was on the pricier side, it ended up being worth every penny. When shopping for clothes, remember to really consider cost per wear. If you’re paying $300 for an item you’ll wear once, that’s expensive (at least for most people). However, if you’re paying $300 for an item you’ll wear all winter long for years to come, that’s worth the splurge.
…which brings me to my new stylish sneakers from GREATS. They definitely don’t come cheap, but they’re quality sneakers that’ll last. You can feel good about investing in them because they’re classic designs that will never go out of fashion. They sell three different styles online: the Royale ($169), the Royale Knit ($99), and the Wooster ($179).
I own 2 pairs of Royales (in nero and blanco) and a pair of woosters in perforated nero, and I seriously love them all. To sweeten the pot, you’ll get a bundle discount of 10% if you buy 2 pairs and 12% off if you buy 3. They also offer free exchanges and returns for up to 21 days so if you’re unhappy (which you won’t be), you can always send them back. FYI, the royales run a half size small so keep that in mind when shopping.
