I was SO excited to tell you all about my latest find, but it SOLD OUT! Ahhhhh. It makes sense though because it was such a good deal. The quality was legit, and it looked so much more expensive than it was. It’s alright though because I’m gonna share other affordable yet stylish winter coat options with you guys below. I won’t even bother sharing deets from this purchase because that’d just be mean since it’s no longer available [insert super sad face here].
As you know, Sensible Stylista’s about shopping smart aka knowing when to save and when to splurge. Outerwear is one thing I definitely don’t mind paying top dollar for, but “top dollar” means different things for different people. I’ve purchased a handful of classic styles from Burberry – they’re my fave outerwear brand btw – but I got them all during after-Christmas sales to save max $$$. So, how exactly do I justify the expensive purchases? Cost per wear. I’ve had my olive Burberry coat for 8 years, and it’s my go-to every winter. It’s ragged on the inside – I’ve worn it thousands of times…seriously – but the outside looks brand new because the quality is THAT good.
Now, that doesn’t mean the more affordable coats aren’t legit. I own several “cheaper” coats (think under $50) that look fly AF. Soooo, this is what I recommend. Splurge on a classic coat (in a neutral color so it goes with anything and everything) so it can be your ride or die forever and get trendier coats for less at stores like ASOS and TJ Maxx. I’ll be sharing a bunch with you below (a mix of trendy + classic) so make sure you keep scrolling.
Stylish winter coat options you can count on:
I may or may not want all of these, ha! What do you guys prefer – classic styles or the trendier options? I ask because I honestly love both. And can we just talk about animal print for a second? Who else loves the pattern as much as I do? Anywho, enough on that. Let me know if you guys need any more recommendations – I’m more than happy to answer your emails + messages. Happy shopping, guys!
