I’m excited to share another fab shoot I did with Ryan Chua Photography. This shoot took place in the Arts District (in LA obvi), and it was my favorite location in SoCal. The artwork was absolutely incredible, and I found myself taking pictures left and right. Prior to this shoot, Ryan and I had a light breakfast at The Pie Hole – a super cute cafe with delicious pastries (savory + sweet) and amazing coffee.
I had a really nomtastic leek + swiss quiche, and Ryan got a cornbread chicken pie. I regret not taking pics of the food so I guess that means I need to go back soon. To be honest, I was hangry at the time, and I didn’t have the patience to take a pretty shot of it all! I just wanted it all in my belly. I’m one of those people who can’t function on an empty stomach. I don’t know how people skip breakfast because I’m hungry within the first 15 min. of waking.
Anyways, let’s take a look at my OOTD! Here’s A full body shot for you guys. I was getting dim sum with other bloggers later for lunch, Christine (Kkarmalove) & Julia (LifesJules), so I wore a comfy dress to hide my future food baby. I scored this dress at Charlotte Russe for $5 during their Memorial Day blowout, and I was stoked because you guys know how much I love sales.
Because the dress is super simple, I styled it with fierce gladiator sandals to elevate the otherwise “basic” look. My embellished sunglasses + bag matched so of course I had to wear them. I’m definitely sporting a lot of favorites in today’s look! These Kristin Perry Inc. sunnies are so on point, and they’re available for purchase HERE for $28.
Here’s a close-up shot of my sunnies! Aren’t the floral embellishments cute?
Although I don’t have a dress link for here, here are other fabulous striped dresses for your shopping ease:
Here’s one last full body shot for you guys! The people behind me were having bratwursts, and I kind of wanted to jack someone’s sausage. That sounds awful on so many different levels, but lucky for them I was already full. Have you ever been to LA? If yes, let me know what your favorite spots are so I can visit them the next time I go! Also, if you want to browse more casual outfits, click here.
