Last Tuesday, I had the pleasure of attending Trunk Club’s DC holiday event, and I’m so beyond excited to tell you guys all about it. Located on 525 9th Street NW #700, their suite oozes chic. For those of you unfamiliar with their brand, think of them as a swanky styling service. You can do your shopping in person at one of their Clubhouses or online in the convenience of your home. Their ready-to-wear pricing usually falls between $100-300 for both men and women, but they’re flexible so just let them know what your budget is.
They currently have 7 Clubhouses in the US: Boston, Charleston, Chicago, Dallas, DC, LA, and NYC. Go in for a private fitting with your stylist to enjoy a complimentary drink while browsing clothes that fit your size, style and spending preferences. Email service@trunkclub.com to schedule an appointment at the location of your choice.
If you prefer to shop online, your stylist will send you clothes directly to your door. They’re not a subscription service so they’ll only send trunks when requested. You do, however, have the option of getting them monthly, quarterly or [insert interval of choice]. You’ll get an itemized preview email with their picks so you can sign off on everything before it’s mailed out to you. You have 5 days to decide what you want to keep/return, but you can ask for an extension if you need more time. FYI: there’s a $25 styling fee, but it’ll be credited towards your purchase. If you’re a Nordstrom cardholder, your fee will be waived, and you’ll get notes with your purchase – since Trunk Club’s a Nordstrom affiliate company, they carry all the brands that you would see at your local Nordstrom.
Moving onto their fabulous event! I took my buddy Kramer Phillips, and we had a blast. We walked into their space, hung up our wet coats – omg it was raining so hard outside – and the lovely stylists there hooked us up with holiday checklists. Everyone and their +1s got to choose 3 gifts – one from each of the following categories: gifts for him, gifts for her, and gifts for everyone. I ended up getting adorable adidas sneakers for myself, a Herschel backpack for my bf, and a fit bit for… myself, HAHA! Happy holidays to me? #DontJudgeMe #LMAO
In all seriousness though, shopping for others is hard and time-consuming so make sure you take advantage of their service. They’ll help you find thoughtful gifts for your loved ones AND make sure you show up in THE dopest outfit ever. TC stylists understand that finding clothing that fits properly is a challenge, which is why they’ve undergone extensive training to understand body types; therefore, they know what brands are right for specific shapes.
After our adventure, we sipped pretty cocktails and enjoyed hors d’oeuvres at the bar.
Here’s a shot of what one of their displays looked like!
Anddd a close-up shot of the shoes I got for myself! Aren’t they adorable? I can’t wait to get them in the mail.
Anywho, make sure you guys check out Trunk Club in DC – the stylists there will help you elevate your style game tenfold and you’ll feel swanky AF sipping on a fancy drank while getting your shop on. A huge thanks to Trunk Club for having me and sponsoring this post! I can’t wait to go back and load up on more fall staples. Until next time, loves! Sending hugs.
You are looking very pretttyyyy,….
