Alright friends, I’m really excited to partner up with Western Digital today to tell you about one of my tech must-haves. But before I get into the nitty-gritty, I need to give some backstory to as why it’s so important. I’ve been blogging since 2011 – I can’t believe it’s been 8 years, almost 9 – so as you can imagine, my laptop contains my life. Everything from pictures, drafts, contracts, you name it. I knew I needed to back things up, but I kept procrastinating.
Well, a few years back my computer crashed, and I lost everything. It was honestly devastating, and I vowed never to be in that position again. When I first started Sensible Stylista, I really only blogged about personal style, and I was a full-time student, so I didn’t travel much. It’s been years since I transitioned to lifestyle, and now I’m all about that jetsetter life. Enter WD’s My Passport drive.
It’s about the size of my palm, and I use it for pictures, videos, documents and more when I’m on the go since portability’s so great. It comes with backup software that can be set to run automatically, which is convenient, and on top of that, its password protected. You can also import directly from storage services like Facebook, Dropbox and Google Drive. It’s durable so you can rely on it long-term, but if you need reassurance, they offer a 3-year limited warranty.
Not only is it affordable compared to other hard drives, it looks sleek as well, so you’ll feel like a boss using it. It’s an essential that lives in my everyday tote along with my camera and laptop just in case. And it’s really light so I don’t mind carrying it around with me. If you travel a lot, I highly recommend getting one for yourself because trust me, you don’t want to make the same mistake I did.
Alright friends, that’s it for today! I hope you enjoyed reading about the My Passport drive from WD. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m always happy to hear from you guys! And if you missed my latest travel posts, make sure you browse this tab – I recently recapped my trip to Chateau Elan and Atlanta, Georgia.
